The rarity of identical layouts is striking, with estimates suggesting Vacheron Constantin produced fewer than 100 of these units, rendering it not only exceptionally rare but also highly versatile in its wearability.

Drawing inspiration from the Rolex "Thunderbird," renowned for its unconventional Datejust design featuring a rotating bezel, the Turnograph boasts an 18k yellow gold construction with a bi-directional rotating bezel and a waterproof screw-down caseback. Considered by many as Vacheron's pioneering venture into the realm of sports watches, the Turnograph served as a precursor to the iconic Overseas collection. Nonetheless, it retains the hallmark characteristics of Vacheron's distinguished dress watches.
