The MB&F Horological Machine No.1 (HM1) wasn’t just a watch—it was a declaration of independence in haute horology. As the first creation in the MB&F family, it set the stage for the brand’s rebellious DNA, defying tradition with its bold, futuristic design. Encased in an otherworldly figure-8 silhouette, the multi-layered dial featured a mesmerizing central 60-second tourbillon, flanked by separate hour and minute indicators, creating a striking sense of depth. Beneath the surface, a masterfully engineered twin-barrel movement, developed by Jean-Marc Wiederrecht and Agenhor, delivered an impressive seven-day power reserve. Though it came in seven different metal variations, fewer than 100 pieces were ever produced, making it an ultra-rare icon. With the HM1, MB&F made it clear—it wasn’t here to follow the rules. It was here to rewrite them.
